Y no encanta
poder hacerlo.
Carl Minchew: I’m Carl Minchew with Benjamin Moore, and I’m here in Jackson Center, Ohio
for the very first Color Care Across America for this campaign where we are acknowledging,
recognizing our veterans, and particularly disabled veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan
wars. And, we’re going to do one home in each state, plus the District of Columbia.
So, 51 homes in all. And, this is the first one.
Joy Marie Klopfenstein: I knew that our name was given, and we hadn’t heard anything,
so we had just figured nothing had happened. And, then we got a voice mail from Ilene McComb
Alison Maxwell: I was definitely more than excited when Tim, our Benjamin Moore rep,
came over and offered the opportunity to us.
Craig Pruden: We thought, “Wow, that’s a really neat program. It’s a way of us,
I guess, giving something in return to the vets for what they’ve done for us and our
country.” It’s just small gesture from Ben Moore, and Creative Paints helping out.
And, we were glad to do it.
Rick Runyan: Color can uplift your spirits and just change your life. So, Benjamin Moore
decided to go ahead and do that. We’re donating the materials with our customer Creative Paints
out of Columbus is supplying it, and then Termin Commercial painters out of Columbus
is doing all the labor.
rooms here, and the kids’ bedrooms – they all like to pick their own theme. This is
Olivia’s room. Right now we’re doing, as you can see, it’s the girl colors. And,
then the boys have their scarlet and grey for Ohio State.
Joy Marie Klopfestein: In our bedroom we wanted something that we could sleep well in, and
something calming. And, blue is both of our favorite colors. So, we chose a dark blue
for our walls and a lighter blue for our trim. The house has a strong foundation, and we’re
building our family’s foundation. We want to keep our family’s foundation strong,
and this is the perfect home and community to do that in.
Carl Minchew: Benjamin Moore would like to thank Termin Commercial painters because they
really did a fantastic job, put their heart and sole into this. We’re also appreciative
of Creative Paint, our local retailer, who tinted all the paint, got it in here, and
really became part of the project to help get it done. Benjamin Moore can’t do this
without them, and we really appreciate all the help. It took the community to get it
done, and we really appreciate their help.
Kevin Sauriol: At first you don’t really know how much of a difference it’s gonna
be, but once the color started going on and everything, I mean, it’s huge. It’s beautiful.
It really came together real nice.
