Hello everybody I will show you a tuna recipe. This is not a traditional way of eating tuna.
With mayonaise and canned vegetables and all that stuff that is really easy to make. It´s
not that complicated also and i think it´s more healthy because it has less calories,
because obviosly it doesn´t have mayonaise. So i hope you like it!
What we are going to need as ingredients are: obviously tuna, chopped red tomatoe, chopped
onion, and serrano green pepper or jalapeño pepper. And everything is as you wish. What
i have of tomatoe is two big chopped tomatoes, and look how much this is. A big or medium
size onion or less, I mean it´s all as you wish, and for the serrano chilli are 4 green
chilli peppers and you will also need lemon or lime juice, and salt, the quantity is as
you wish. And also you need toasted tortilla, because I think this recipe taste so good
with these. So what we are going to do now, is pour the
ingredients of the Mexican flag colors and other flags that I don´t want to mention,
so we are going to pour it and just look at the neat way I do it because I am holding
the video camera with my other hand and I don´t have anybody here to hold the camera,
and just look how I do this, oh-oh some ingredients are falling out of the bowl, and now I´m
going to put this dish on top of the ingredients to continue pouring the rest in the bowl,
but no worries for the ingredients that fell out of the bowl because it was red tomatoe
and you saw I had plenty of that chopped. There you go, ready!
And now that you have all these inside the bowl, oh wait I´m going to put inside the
tomatoe that fell out of the dish, don´t worry my counter is clean. Ok, now I already
had some lemon juice squeezed, so I pour it and I´m going to put salt on it, as I wish
to salt it. Perfect! Now we are going to mix everything, oh, why do I have two spoons,
well maybe two help better than one. And we are going to mix, and mix, and mix, and in
this moment if you like you can put a little bit of more salt, if you think it´s going
to be needing more or if not, wait and then you taste it and put salt if you think it
needs more, I mean I´m not a proffesional chef, nothing of this is gourmet, and I´m
not showing anything clean, because in these cases you always make a big mess, and then
you get to clean it up. I don´t know how chefs do it in their programs to maintain
their working area very clean. Ok, very good, oh, I have a lot of strength, OMG! Ok in this
moment it would be good if you tried it, just to see if the ingredients are well mixed or
it needs more lemon juice or salt, and I think my tuna is ok with the lemon juice, I think
it only needs a little bit of more salt, and it´s ready to serve. This is something so
fast, in ten minutes you can prepare this, and in ten minutes you are eating, but if
you are as fast as the Road Runner, well you can do it in less time. In this point if you
like you can put green olives, I love green olives, but I don´t have some in this moment,
I just did this recipe with the ingredients I had at hand, and this is it. I´m going
to prepare a toasted tortilla, excuse me cousin I´m going to use your plate, but this recipe
should have something nice on the panorama, and I´ll have this in your honor and leave
you some for you to eat when you arrive. Ok so put the tuna on the toasted tortilla, and
check that this is a light tuna; tuna is good for you, it´s fish, so it has omega and a
lot of nutrients, I mean, I´m not an expert, I´m not a nutriologist and I´m not a chef.
